Steel provides assistance for children
On December 8th, 2020, Dr. Rolf Wendler, representative of our management board, and Lutz Beißig, chairman of the worker’s council, handed over a symbolic check amounting to 20,000 Euros to the Charity association ‘Eltern Initiative’ for Children with Cancer Jena e. V. ".
This amount is the result of donations of our employees of almost 4,000 Euros and was completed by the company.
The aim of this Charity association is to give children suffering from cancer and their families support beyond the necessary medical treatment and to provide families with competent advice and information.
