Grow together - German Unity Day in Thuringia 2022

On 29.03.2022, the two numbers had a stop-over in Unterwellenborn on the Stahlwerk Thüringen premises where they were placed on two locations in the company: on the scrap yard, with a view of the steel plant, and in the dispatch area, just in front of the cut to size and bundled steel sections. Employees of various areas were given the opportunity to leave their written mark for posterity on this “22”. The chairman of our works council wrote „150 Years of Steel History in Thuringia” on one of the inner surfaces of the “big double two”.

The highlight of this Presidency will take place from 1st to 3rd October 2022, when Thuringia will host the main ceremonial acts of the German Unity Day and of the German National Day in its capital Erfurt as well.

An exhibition of this photography shows the “22”-pictures at the cathedral square “Domplatz” in Erfurt.
