In our administration building, the heat supply is being converted from natural gas to electrical energy through the use of heat pumps.
For this purpose, containers were set up in July to house the offices of the management as well as the human resources and social services departments for the duration of the construction work.
For only green electricity is being used for the heat pumps, we will generate direct CO2 savings.
So, the building's electricity connection will be extended and surface heating with activatable ceiling elements will be installed in all offices.
With this new technology, the rooms are heated on cold days and cooled in summer.
By implementing this measure, we expect annual savings of about 50 tonnes of CO2 in the future.
