29.06.2018Successful Participation in the GESiM Health & Safety Competition
This competition is organised by the French Association of the Steel Industry GESiM in order to improve Health and Safety of the participating companies beyond legal requirements whilst all suggestions for improvement are made by own staff.
For our company it has been already the seventh participation in this „Challenge Santé-Sécurité” celebrating this year its 50th anniversary.

03.07.20171st July 2017 - Stahlwerk Thüringen celebrates 25th anniversary
On the 1st of July 2017, Stahlwerk Thüringen GmbH celebrated its 25th anniversary. Since the company was founded, we have developed into a well-established and successful manufacturer of hot-rolled steel sections. However, to appreciate fully this anniversary, you have to look back further, because the today's enterprise was built on the experiences of generations of diligent and inventive steelworkers. The introduction of the combined section rolling mill (KFS) in 1985 ensured the modern and continued economic viability of the steel production in Unterwellenborn.

01.11.2016Minister for Economic Affairs meets with persons responsible of CSN and SWT
During the German-Brazilian consultations in Weimar, a meeting was held to exchange ideas and opinions between Mr Tiefensee, Minister for Economic Affairs, Science and Digital Society, Mr Martinez, Executive Director of CSN (Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional Brazil), Mr Krey, Managing Director and spokesman of the Landesentwicklungsgesellschaft Thüringen (State Development Corporation of Thuringia) and Mr Wendler, authorized signatory of Stahlwerk Thüringen GmbH.
