How our steel is produced: The finishing department.

Precisely straightened and tailored profile steel.

The straightening machine eliminates the inner stresses inside the sections generated during the rolling and cooling process using controlled pressure of several straightening rolls. This process is also computerised. The finished products of our section rolling mill are straight sections, leaving the straightening machine at approx. 6 meters per second. Next the rolled profiles are collected on a collecting bed to prepare the sections for sawing. Roller tables transport them to the saw plant. We cut the rolled profiles to the length requested by the customer on the cold saw equipment. Once sawn to length the steel profiles are transported to the automatic stacking equipment.

We recycle swarf and cropped ends by collecting them in containers and transferring them to the melting process, also demonstrating our commitment to efficient and resources saving processing.
